Itinerary
Our tour coordinator will pick you up at the hotel around 08:30 in the morning, then proceed to Port Barton Beach to board the motorized boat for the Island hopping tour. The boat station is located in front of Deep Moon Hotel. There will be a quick briefing session with the guide before boarding the boat. The boat leaves at around 0900 hours.
First off is the visit to Capsalay Island, an isolated paradise-like island, with long beach that’s best for swimming. The island is 12 to 15 minutes boat ride from Port Barton Beach. You will surely enjoy its privacy, wildlife and loud sounds of birds. Snorkeling is also one of the things this island can offer. Presence of food stalls and comfort rooms is a big factor for those who want to stroll around. Approximate 20 to 30-minute stay is allowed before heading to the next stop.
Next stop is at Tandan Island, a small Island used to be the source of banig of the locals. Banig is a native mat made of dried palm leaves, sometimes custom-made into other products with same materials. The island is located 20 to 25-minute boat ride from Capsalay. Snorkeling is exciting because of its unique black corals, jack fish and mackerel fish. While waiting for your food servings, you can wander around the island or do swimming. Two hours is agreed to this place unfortunately stores and public toilets are not available.
Next place to visit is the Bigaho Water Falls Island. Get energize as you need to walk on the rough trekking path going to the falls. Sharp rocks and stones are part of the trail yet safe if precautionary measures are being followed. The distance from the beach to waterfalls is 15 minutes trekking. The falls height is about 8-9meters. One hour is the allowable time to spend in this sight, no worries because stores are around the area selling light snacks and drinks. Toilets are also available.
The last spot is the Pamuayan Island. A 30 minutes boat ride to reach the island. Activities are swimming on the long white sand beach, sunbathing, relaxing and snorkelling to see star fish. Restaurant is available that serves Chinese food and snacks, coffee, tea and cold drinks. Accommodation that offers overnight stay. You have one hour to spend in the island.
