Declared as one of the WORLD's NEW 7 WONDERS OF NATURE in 2012, and inscribed in the prestigious UNESCO World Heritage List on 1999 on the merit of its magnificent subterranean river with unique formation that empties on the sea, Underground River remains to be the best attraction in Puerto Princesa. The watershed area of the river within the park is covered by primary forest which is home to many endemic species of animals and plants. It encompasses an unusual variety ecosystems, making it high scientific and conservation interest. The only national park in the country situated within the city boundaries, the Puerto Princesa Underground River's main features is the Cabayugan River which flows in an easterly direction for over eight (8) kilometers under spectacular massif limestone karts towards the South China Sea. The lowest four (4) kilometers of the river is navigable by small boats.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation of Bookings can be done at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled tour except in the event of natural phenomenon or due to cases beyond reasonable control, otherwise the following cancellation must applied:
No cancellation fee if cancelled 48 hours prior departure date
50% cancellation fee if cancelled within 48 hours
100% cancellation fee if cancelled within 24 hours or NO SHOW

CHILD POLICY
Free of charge for children below 3 years old
Discounted rate is extended for children with ages 3 to 6 years old
Adult price will be applied for child 7 years old and above.

Booking confirmation will be sent upon receipt of payment.
Duration of tour hours include pick-up and drop-off.
Activities done beyond the scope of the itinerary are no longer the responsibility of the tour operator.

Management reserves the right to rebook to another date due to force majeure and bad weather conditions.
No exchange or refund, in full or in part, will be given for any unused portion or part of the tour or services.

Please bring insect-repellant lotion and sunscreen lotion, hats, caps or scarf for heat protection,  coins and smaller bills (Philippine currency) for purchases in variety – sundries stores, separate bags for wet clothing, and medications with prescriptions (if there are any).

Pick up time is between 6:30-7:00am. It takes 1.5 hours land travel by van from Puerto Princesa City to Sabang wharf. Upon arrival in Sabang, your Tour Guide will process the validation of your Visitors Entry Permit, Underground River Authorities Office will be given the time slot of your party's issued permits. Based on this time slot you will either have your complimentary lunch before or after your tour. Please be advised that you will be required to wait for your slot and this can sometimes be from 1 hour to 2 hours. There are lots of souvenir and refreshments stalls to enjoy in the meantime. You will take a motorized boat going to the General Entrance beach, a beautiful forest area home to a number of endemic species, including a troop of naughty Macaque's. The canoe tour in to the Cave itself lasts approximately 45 minutes, and takes you into the first 1.5 kilometers of the Underground River cave. Experience the beauty of Stalagmites and Stalactites, which took thousands of years to form, and the Swift and Bat populations that inhabit the cave. Tour will end at approximately 4pm. Transfer back to hotel at Puerto Princesa City proper
